Research and Interests Meteorology Programming Meteorology I am interested in understanding the physics in both atmosphere and ocean. Here you can find some of my interests: -dynamic meteorology (teaching at the moment), -boundary layer meteorology, -numerical modeling (teaching at the moment), -numerical weather forecasting, -climate modeling and climate data assessing, -oceanography. Research projects: -Velibor Zeli, “Implementing semi-Lagrangian advection scheme for modeling of passive advection on the surface of a sphere” (Serbian version). FORTRAN source code that was used in making this project along with Bash scripts and Python scripts for compilation and plotting can be found here. -Velibor Zeli, “Guide on how to Obtain and Process Climate Model Data” (English version), -Velibor Zeli, “Calculating friction velocity and heat flux in the surface layer using Monin-Obukhov similarity theory” (English version), -Velibor Zeli, “Numerical modeling of albedo aggregation in the case of cylindrical geometry located in the grid cell using Monte Carlo Ray Tracing method” (English version), Conference poster: -Velibor Zeli, Zorica Podrascanin, Beata Bukosa, “Numerical weather prediction at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad” at the Fourth scientific-professional conference Challenges in meteorology 4 of the Croatian Meteorological Society. In the paper I have been thanked in the section “Acknowledgements” for contributing by making scripts for plotting graphs in Matplotlib 🙂
